I've lived in Tuolumne County for nearly 25 years, and feel lucky that I was able to raise my family here. Tuolumne County is our home, and we love it. We love the natural beauty of our area, and appreciate the opportunities we are granted to hold parties and special events in such beautiful surroundings. After being involved in a variety of organizations as a volunteer for over 15 years, my wonderful friend, Debby, and I chose to move our event planning talents into a business. During our volunteer years we planned events ranging from parades, and large parties for groups numbering over 400, to large community service projects. One of the largest planning adventures was the complete planning of a week-long Summer Camp with 200 campers and a staff of 50, which we did for 5 years. Camp planning included the planning and scheduling of activities, planning menus for meals and snacks, designing artwork for camp gear, preparing for emergencies, training staff and volunteers, and then finally overseeing the entire week's program. We felt our vast experience in planning activities and events would go far in planning private events. In 2001 we began Events Extraordinaire. In 2004 Debby moved out of state and my family stepped in to fill the void. Business has steadily grown, and has moved from being primarily a wedding coordinating business to now include corporate events such as company picnics and holiday parties, as well as planning celebrations for special occasions. We are a small, family run business, but our professionalism and attention to detail is beyond measure, and we are certain you will be extremely happy with the service we provide. We will assist you with your special event planning needs, and can help with as little, or as much as you need. Extensive experience includes coordinating 25 weddings during the summer of 2009 at Ironstone Vineyards in Murhpys, California. We are very familiar with services and locations available in the Sonora area, including Sonora, Twain Harte, Columbia, Tuolumne, Jamestown and others. We have a strong working relationship with many local venues and speciality event vendors, such as D.J.'s, Photographers & Caterers. We are your Tuolumne and Calaveras County wedding and special event specialists, and with our help you will feel like putting together your special event was a Breeze!
